Dear Extended Cobble Hill LifeCare Family,
A little while ago we received a positive COVID test result from a resident on unit 2A. We have strong reason to believe this is a false positive. Unfortunately, until that could be confirmed, we will have to assume that it isn’t and quarantine that unit as well as isolate the resident.
This situation, candidly, is frustrating, given the frequency of false positives and the time it takes our lab to confirm that they are false. I will keep you posted with any updates.
Although Thanksgiving is ideally a time to spend with family, we will do our very best to make it festive and enjoyable for our residents even though they can’t be with you. Our chefs are planning a delicious meal and we will have extra fun activities to keep everyone happy and engaged. We’ll try and post some pictures to our website later in the week.
