Dear Extended Cobble Hill LifeCare Family,

Last night we were informed of an employee on 1A testing positive for COVID-19. This employee was immediately furloughed and put on quarantine. At this time as per Department of Health guidelines we will put 1A on Quarantine as we do a round of outbreak testing. Visitation will remain OPEN.

What this means is that ALL visitors to 1A must understand the potential risk of exposure to COVID-19. All visitors are REQUIRED to wear PPE. The day room will be closed during this time. We ask that patients and their visitors remain in their rooms for the duration of their visit.

As a reminder we do offer the COVID-19 vaccine and the booster here at Cobble Hill every Wednesday. If you are interested in getting your loved one vaccinated, please reach out to the floor Nurse or Social Worker and let them know.

As we head into this joyous holiday season, we want to acknowledge and thank you for entrusting your loved ones in our care. We have many fun and engaging activities planned to make these next few weeks even more joyous for our residents.

If you have any specific questions or concerns about this, I encourage you to reach out to us via the COVID hotline at (718) 247-1153 or email us at covid19@cobblehill.org.

Thank you.
