Dear Extended Cobble Hill LifeCare Family,

This morning we were informed of an employee testing positive for COVID-19. The employee was immediately taken off schedule and placed on quarantine. Unit 4A will remain on quarantine through January 1, 2022 in the event there were any exposures. We continue to conduct full house outbreak testing over the next two weeks to capture any other potential positives. This quarantine will not prevent PT/OT from continuing.

As per the new DOH visitation guidelines, visitors are still welcome to come and visit. Please be aware there is a potential exposure as you visit. As a reminder, everyone is required to wear masks for the duration of the visit and remain in your resident’s room.

We have all seen an increase in the numbers within our communities. While upsetting these numbers are not surprising. That said, it is more important than ever, if you are feeling ill, or have been exposed or potentially exposed, we ask you to please not come to the building to visit your loved ones.

As a reminder, we do offer the COVID-19 vaccine and the booster here at Cobble Hill every Thursday. If you are interested in having your resident vaccinated, please reach out to the floor Nurse or Social Worker and let them know.

If you have any specific questions or concerns about this, I encourage you to reach out to us via the COVID hotline at (718) 247-1153 or email us at covid19@cobblehill.org.

Thank you.
