Dear Extended Cobble Hill LifeCare Family,

Today we were informed of three additional employees testing positive for COVID-19. These employees were immediately taken off schedule and placed on quarantine. We continue to conduct outbreak testing of all staff and residents until we have no positives for 2 weeks.

Visitors are still welcome to come and visit. We must remind all visitors of the inherent risk of potential exposure as you visit. As a reminder, everyone is required to wear masks for the duration of the visit and remain in your resident’s room. If you are feeling even remotely unwell or have been exposed to someone who is unwell we ask you to refrain from entering the building for 14 days.

Over the next few days and weeks, we can expect to see more positives within New York and our building. That said we have enhanced our cleaning and disinfecting throughout the building, we have put into place stringent PPE policies, and we have an abundance of PPE on site.

As a reminder, we do offer our residents the COVID-19 vaccine and the booster here at Cobble Hill every Thursday. If you are interested in getting your loved one vaccinated, please reach out to the floor Nurse or Social Worker and let them know.

If you have any specific questions or concerns about this, I encourage you to reach out to us via the COVID hotline at (718) 247-1153 or email us at covid19@cobblehill.org.

Thank you.
