Dear Extended Cobble Hill LifeCare Family,

This morning we were informed by our lab of one resident on 4A who tested positive for COVID-19. This resident has been moved to the COVID Unit, and is asymptomatic. 4A will remain on quarantine until we see no additional cases for 14 days.

We realize hearing about more than one positive case at one time is unsettling. As we’ve said before, it should unfortunately be expected to have occasional flare ups particularly on our new admission unit. We are on high alert to limit the spread as much as possible, and cannot reiterate enough the importance of being vaccinated. The vaccines work. We have seen an abundance of evidence that vaccinated residents who test positive remain asymptomatic.
