Dear Extended Cobble Hill LifeCare Family,

The Department of Health recently issued regulations allowing residents to appoint Personal Caregiving Visitors and Compassionate Caregiving Visitors (for end of life situations or other crisis situations) during a declared public health emergency. While we are still unsure about much of this new regulation and are trying to learn as much about it as we can, we understand that its intention is to have pre-selected and documented visitors who are allowed to visit residents even during public emergencies when general visitation might be restricted.

To that end, we ask that you kindly fill out the survey here with the names of the individuals you would like appointed as Personal Caregiving Visitors for your loved one. Alternatively, you may relay your choice to your resident’s social worker.

We welcome regulation supporting visitation even during declared emergencies and will bring more information to you about this and how it will work as we ourselves learn more.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions about this or anything else at.

Thank you,
Donny Tuchman
