Greetings Cobble Hill LifeCare Family!

We have been informed that an employee working in the facility has tested positive for COVID-19. This employee had not worked onsite for several days prior to testing positive and there is no suspected exposure to residents. This employee is now on quarantine. While this employee has been vaccinated, it is considered an actual positive.

Out of an abundance of caution, we will begin resident testing this weekend. Unfortunately, this means we must pause on our backyard visitations. We will continue with gate visits.

Separately, new guidelines for visitation have been released. We are reviewing all of our procedures and will keep you informed. Please remember, visitors must also follow all requirements and instructions from staff to ensure visitation happens safely. This includes, but is not limited to: screening procedures, mask wearing, social distancing and no eating or drinking.

We remain focused on keeping all residents safe and are thankful for our twice weekly employee testing to ensure we continue to limit any and all exposures.

As always, if you have any specific questions or concerns about this or anything else, reach out to us via the COVID hotline (718)247-1153 or email us at covid19@cobblehill.org.

Best wishes,
Stephanie Zevon
