 Dear Extended Cobble Hill LifeCare Family,

 I’m happy to report that our lab just confirmed that 5 of our recent staff COVID cases and 1 recent resident COVID case were in fact false positives.  As a result, only units 1B, 3B and 4A remain on quarantine.

I also want to clarify that all residents with the exception of those who are confirmed COVID positive are able to go out for gate visits.  Even if your resident’s unit is on precautionary quarantine, gate visits are still permitted. We feel confident that in those cases, we can balance infection control concerns with the vital importance of maintaining contact with family members.

As I mentioned yesterday, we are working hard to enhance those gate visits through the cold months to make them as enjoyable as possible.
